Job Summary
Amazon Global Selling has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today more than 50% of Amazons total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazons 19 overseas marketplaces and supporting local Sellers success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.
Key job responsibilities
-Oversee the integration of GenAI capabilities into existing workflow solutions while ensuring maintenance of quality and accuracy standards.
-Understand the architecture of the systems you work with (e.g. workflows APIs design limitations and maintenance requirements).
-Build project plans set milestones establish mechanisms and bring the right people together to solve technical problems and ensure successful delivery.
-Coordinate with leaders and stakeholders in multiple teams across Tech Business and Operations to drive data-driven decisions and alignment
-Dive deep into technical blockers and work with development teams to unblock delivery or find a path to resolution.
-Communicate regularly with senior management on status risks and change control
-Drive efficient planning execution and track program/project status by tools on daily basis
-Generate schedules program/project reports regularly for board audiences to understand the status and risk
-Host program/project meetings lead to conclusion provide meeting minutes and track action items for the team.
-Lead team retrospectives that maximize learning. Incorporate improvements into our development processes and apply them to future programs.
About the team
The Amazon Global Selling Analytics Intelligence and Technology (AGS-AIT) team serves as the research automation and insight arm of the International Seller Service data hub enabling rapid delivery of growth insights through strategic investments in regional data foundations self-service business intelligence solutions and artificial intelligence tools.
The AGS-AIT team is positioned to establish AI-ready foundational capabilities across the AGS organization while maintaining excellence in business insight generation and self-service BI/AI application development.
AGS-AIT is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data infrastructure and analytics capabilities for AGS AI and Automation initiatives.
- 8 years of technical product or program management experience
- 5 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
