The opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated Masters-level researcher/engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering Solid Mechanics Material Science or related fields to contribute to cutting-edge work on composite materials under fatigue-critical conditions. This role offers the chance to combine simulation testing and design improvements to advance the reliability of composite structures in demanding applications.

How youll make an impact:

Evaluate composite behavior under diverse operational loads and service conditions.
Review and assess methodologies from existing literature to investigate fatigue performance.
Develop advanced simulation models using tools such as Abaqus or Ansys.
Validate fatigue performance through experimental testing or numerical simulation.
Recommend design improvements for fatigue-critical composite components to enhance durability and performance.
Document findings and methodologies with the potential to contribute to a technical paper summarizing the study and its implications.

Your background:

Masters student (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering Solid Mechanics Material Science or related disciplines.
Strong interest in simulation testing and composite materials.
Familiarity with Abaqus or Ansys for finite element modeling.
Demonstrated motivation problem-solving ability and task completion skills.
Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken) for technical communication.
