Description

UW Health in northern Illinoisseeks a BE/BC Allergist and Immunologist to join our growing team. Our allergy and immunology team is committed to providing comprehensive patient-centered care for a variety of allergic and immune system disorders. We offer cutting-edge treatments and personalized approaches to help improve patient quality of life.

Your clinical support includes the following:

Diagnosis and management of allergic diseases including asthma allergic rhinitis food allergies drug allergies atopic dermatitis and anaphylaxis.
Immunotherapy services including allergy shots and biologic therapies for severe allergic conditions.
Evaluation and treatment of immune deficiencies and other immunologic disorders.
Large built-in referral base from over 100 primary care providers within our medical group as well as opportunities for collaboration with specialty providers to enhance patient care.
Participation in educational opportunities with medical students and family medicine residents as well as an academic appointment with the University of IL College of Medicine at Rockford.
Access to excellent tertiary specialty support from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Qualifications:

MD or DO; BC or BE in Allergy and Immunology.
Active license in the State of Illinois and active DEA license or the ability to apply for such licenses prior to or upon hire.
