As our Building Maintenance Coordinator youll play a key role in keeping our facilities safe functional and welcoming. Youll take a proactive approach to building maintenance by staying ahead of issues completing routine repairs coordinating major projects with skilled trades and responding to service requests from store teams and tenants. Location: This role is primarily based throughout our dealerships in the HRM however some travel to our locations across Atlantic Canada may be required so flexibility and a willingness to travel are important.

Compensation: $65000 - $80000/year based on knowledge skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance minor repairs and general upkeep of the facility
• Visually inspect HVAC plumbing electrical and structural systems to ensure proper operation
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and oversee contractors for larger projects
• Respond promptly to service requests from store teams and tenants
• Manage vendor relationships obtain quotes and ensure work meets quality standards
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all work follows safety and building regulations
• Support or supervise maintenance staff providing guidance and training as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned to keep facilities running smoothly

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance building operations or a related field
• Solid understanding of HVAC plumbing electrical systems and general building repairs
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear and professional communication skills for working with staff tenants and vendors
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment work at heights and complete physically demanding tasks
