In order to support continued growth and evolution within the business King is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the next phase of our organic social media strategy. This role plays a key part within the Brand Communications team responsible for driving engagement visibility and creative storytelling across Kings owned social channels.
Your Role within our Kingdom
Were looking for an experienced Content & Social Media Manager to shape how Candy Crush shows up across organic social building meaningful connections with our players through creative platform-native content.
As the lead for our organic social ecosystem you will own channel strategy content planning and creative output across Instagram Facebook TikTok and YouTube. Youll work closely with key stakholders to ensure our organic social channels drive awareness community engagement and brand love all while maintaining the distinctive voice and playful tone our community knows and loves.
- Lead the development and delivery of Candy Crushs organic social strategy ensuring each channel grows in reach engagement and brand relevance.
- Plan brief and publish platform-native content that reflects Candys brand personality and resonates with our global player community.
- Manage the social content calendar ensuring consistent timely and aligned execution across brand game and campaign priorities.
- Lead the planning and execution of always-on social content as well as collaborating with Brand Comms Product Marketing and CRM teams to deliver high-impacted integrated social activity that amplifies campaign performance.
- Monitor platform trends cultural moments and player insights to identify opportunities for timely creative and relevant storytelling.
- Analyse performance data and player insights to optimise content and guide future creative direction.
- Partner with in-house creative teams creators and agencies to deliver high-quality engaging social content.
- Test and adopt new tools formats and platform features to drive innovation and keep Candy Crushs social presence ahead of the curve.
- Uphold Candy Crushs brand standards across every post and channel ensuring consistency quality and creative excellence.
Skills to Create Thrills
- Proven experience managing and growing organic social channels for a leading entertainment tech lifestyle or gaming brand.
- Strong understanding of social strategy and platform best practices across Meta TikTok YouTube and emerging channels.
- Confident and passion in developing creative ideas and guiding social-first content from concept through to execution.
- Data driven using analytics and insights to inform decisions measure impact and optimise performance of content.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator with strong organisational and project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Passionate about culture trends and storytelling that builds connection with audiences.
