POSITION SPECIFICS
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate patient flow and facilitate patient care; assign and direct the work of nursing team members
Provide triage phone advice patient education and medication administration
Assess and monitor all clinical activities
Provide training and guidance to nursing staff as needed
Conduct staff reviews and make recommendations for personnel actions
Counsel staff for policy deviations and develop corrective action plans
Bring concerns and ideas for improvement to Clinical Services Leadership
May provide clinical support to research studies
Supervise staff members including hiring development and performance management
MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
If filled as Nursing Supervisor - Senior Supervisor this position requires: Bachelors Degree 6 years of relevant experience Required Certifications: Registered Nurse - Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing If filled as Nursing Supervisor - Supervisor this position requires: Bachelors Degree 3 years of relevant experience Required Certifications: Registered Nurse - Pennsylvania State Board of NursingBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.Penn State does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of a staff employment Visa. SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position including all possible grades is $61800.00 - $102300.00.Salary Structure - Information on Penn States salary structure
