Are you ready to play a central role in delivering innovative medicines to patients As a Drug Project Coordinator (DPC) at AstraZeneca youll provide essential project coordination support to ensure the successful delivery of drug development projects. Collaborating with Project Managers Global Product Leads and Franchise Heads youll be a key player in managing projects according to best practices. Accountabilities:

Project Team Support with GPPM:
- Provide project and administrative support to cross-functional project teams (and non-drug project teams where applicable) in close collaboration with the Global Product Manager Global Product Lead and/or Franchise Head to facilitate cross-functional activities where project coordination is required.
- Coordinate cross-functional team meetings (schedule draft and distribute agenda read-ahead materials presentations and meeting minutes).
- Lead and coordinate logistics relating to face-to-face project team meetings.
- Governance presentation logistics and management.
- Support logistics in connection to major project milestones such as study readouts (FUSIS read-out simulation exercise Restricted Persons List Confidentiality list).
- Proactively ensures the set-up and maintenance of information management practices in line with AstraZeneca best practice and with the support of the Information Management Lead.
- Manage/revise key project documents and templates (e.g. Team structure on/off boarding etc.).
- May support project management processes such as risk management Project Memory etc.
- Coordinate communications (e.g. team communication milestone successes etc.).
- Create and maintain project team distribution lists.
- Onboarding of new project team members.
- Contribute to creating an efficient and high performing team and good cross-team collaboration.

Planning and Control:
- Generate budget reports to enable the Global Product Managers to highlight deviations to ensure projects align with governance approved budget.
- Potential areas depending on project and in alignment with Global Project Managers:
- Drafting of meeting minutes for drug projects (and non-drug projects where applicable).
- Tracking of milestones and goals.
- Preparation of PLANIT and Tableau/PowerBI reports.
- Team support administration and logistics in connection to major and material study readouts and regulatory submissions.

Continuous Team Improvement:
- Independently and proactively resolve issues and challenges relating to general and administrative requirements of project teams. Actively search for continuous improvement in all areas to simplify ways of working and improve efficiently to ensure that inefficiencies identified problems and opportunities are raised to accountable persons.
- Work collaboratively with Global Project Managers and other project team members to deliver consistent and professional support.
- Take responsibility for the deployment of new processes within the team and act as a role model providing guidance and on-the-job coaching to team members.
- Maintain and develop expertise in appropriate IT systems to ensure efficient use and provide expertise and support to resolve time-consuming queries including coaching and training of affected persons to execute the solution. Trains and mentors other Drug Project Coordinators on best practices.
- Possesses business understanding and uses this knowledge to add value and propose improvements to existing processes and new processes when appropriate.
- Independently and proactively resolve issues and challenges relating to general and administrative requirements of project teams. Actively search for continuous improvement in all areas to simplify ways of working and improve efficiently to ensure that inefficiencies identified problems and opportunities are raised to accountable persons.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams sub-teams and large projects.
- Experience managing data in enterprise systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced global environment balancing competing priorities.
- Experience providing high-quality professional support working proactively and independently without day-to-day direction.
- Experience handling sensitive information in a confidential and discrete manner.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously and efficiently identifying high-priority and urgent tasks for immediate action so that all activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business demands.
- Demonstrate proficiency with a variety of virtual meeting technologies information management software and Microsoft products.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline.
- Proven project management skills within pharma biotech or large industry experience.
- Open transparent proactive communication.
- Successful track record of delivery and keeping teams on track and organized.
- Strong Information management skills including use of modern IM tools such as SharePoint Microsoft Teams and OneNote.
- Interest in a career path within Project Management organization.
