Technical Publications & Regulatory Declarations Technician

We are currently collaborating with a leading HVAC industry company based in Madrid. which is looking to add a Documentation Technician to its team.

About the Role:

Ensure the correct preparation review and management of technical and regulatory documentation related to HVAC equipment guaranteeing compliance with international standards legal requirements and internal quality in a global company environment.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation review and management of technical and regulatory documentation related to HVAC equipment.
• Drafting Fire & Smoke (F&S) reports in accordance with EN45545 standards.
• Preparation of material and substance declarations (REACH RoHS).
• Generation of recyclability and sustainability reports.
• Preparation of EU Declarations of Conformity for CE marking.
• Preparation of Regulatory Declarations of Conformity for any other country within the HVAC Business Unit market.
• Writing and/or managing the creation of technical publications such as installation user or maintenance manuals for HVAC equipment.
• Writing and/or managing the creation of illustrated parts catalogues and training document for HVAC equipment.
• Reviewing and updating applicable regulations for HVAC products (EN ISO European directives).
• Participation in the preparation and monitoring of D-FMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Collaboration in internal project audits to ensure technical and documentary compliance.
• Interaction with engineering quality and certification departments to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Support in special projects related to sustainability and safety

Requirements:

• Academic or professional education in Engineering Higher Vocational Training in industrial areas or similar).
• Advanced knowledge and use of databases.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word).
• Experience in preparing technical documentation and regulatory analysis.
• Desired knowledge of regulations applicable to HVAC: EN45545 REACH RoHS CE.
• Desired knowledge of EcoDesign and environmental documentation (LCA carbon footprint).
• Desired experience with PLM (Windchill).
• Desired experience in design with CAD tools.
• Desired knowledge of VBA programming.
