Job Summary

Role: Application Specialist Support Location: Ludhiana Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Application Specialist Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation testing and daily operations of business applications in coordination with the Corporate IT team. This role involves user training documentation software support and basic technical troubleshooting within a logistics domain environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with the Corporate IT Team for the implementation of business applications. Perform application testing and prepare detailed test documentation/reports. Provide end-user training on newly implemented or updated applications. Share daily application utilization and status reports with the Terminal Head and Corporate IT team. Prepare and maintain documentation including user manuals and requirement gathering notes. Assist in the deployment of applications and evaluate user feedback post-implementation. Provide day-to-day support for user queries and software-related issues. Create and maintain master data in terminal and rail applications. Manage software backups and ensure data integrity. Develop small utilities or enhancements and Oracle (preferred not

mandatory).

Possess domain knowledge in the logistics industry (preferred). Understanding of SAP processes/master data is an added advantage. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Applications or a related field. 1 to 4 years of experience in technical support software testing or project coordination. Basic understanding of programming languages (.NET preferred) and database management (Oracle). Working knowledge of APIs and system integration. Strong analytical skills and effective time management. Good interpersonal skills with a collaborative and problem-solving attitude. Understanding of the web application lifecycle including design development testing and deployment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in logistics (ICD and CFS) supply chain or related industry. Exposure to SAP processes and tools.
