We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our team providing expert operational support for our data tools and platforms that power geospatial analytics. You will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability performance and user satisfaction helping teams derive actionable insights from complex geospatial datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver advanced operational support for data platforms and analytics tools ensuring high availability and performance.
Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across geospatial data systems.
Collaborate with data engineers architects and analysts to identify and implement improvements in system stability and efficiency.
Monitor platform performance conduct root-cause analyses and implement preventive measures.
Develop and maintain documentation for support processes system configurations and troubleshooting guides.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior support engineers and cross-functional teams.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to minimize downtime and maintain service continuity.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Geospatial Science or related field.
Proven experience (5 years) in supporting data platforms preferably in geospatial or analytics environments.
Strong knowledge of SQL cloud-based data platforms and analytics tools.
Experience with monitoring logging and incident management systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive customer-focused approach.
Strong communication and collaboration skills able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Geospatial Science or related field. Proven experience (5 years) in supporting data platforms preferably in geospatial or analytics environments. Strong knowledge of SQL cloud-based data platforms and analytics tools.
