Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred
- 3 years experience in face-to-face customer service in the healthcare family services childrens services education hospitality or entertainment industries required
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates patient needs related to hospital and/ or clinic visits.
- Identifies issues requiring staff education and clarification.
- Investigates issues and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Ensures that department and hospital practices are in line with policies.
- Prepares reports on patient coordination for departments and committees.
- Coordinates patient information databases.
- Educates staff on department processes and departmental and hospital policies.
- Evaluates processes and assists with the development of processes to improve department function.
