Role Overview
A leading electronics manufacturing industry player is seeking a Senior Manager Corporate Finance to spearhead strategic corporate finance initiatives. This role requires a highly analytical and proactive professional with strong expertise in valuation structuring and compliance capable of driving complex corporate exercises and supporting board-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop corporate proposals aligned with group strategy.
- Perform valuations of target companies using multiple methodologies supported by detailed financial models and projections.
- Design and execute M&A structures financial restructuring plans and comprehensive models (cash flow P&L balance sheet) to assess pre- and post-transaction impacts.
- Formulate and negotiate corporate exercise schemes ensuring optimal terms and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive papers and presentations for EXCO and board review.
- Draft review and finalize documentation for proposals including board papers legal documents shareholder announcements and circulars ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Stay updated on Bursa Malaysia Securities Commission and other regulatory requirements ensuring all corporate finance activities meet compliance standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors (investment bankers lawyers auditors tax consultants company secretaries) to ensure smooth execution of corporate exercises.
- Oversee implementation of corporate finance activities through to completion ensuring adherence to agreed terms and structures.
Job Requirement
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
- 810 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in corporate finance within a PLC or Big Four audit firm.
- Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders and review financial documents.
- Strong financial modeling valuation and analytical skills with proven ability to structure corporate finance and investment proposals.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills capable of producing board-level documents and presentations.
- Highly proactive adaptable and results-driven in dynamic environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and build effective relationships across all levels.
