Salary Range:$20hr - $28hr
Schedule:M - F 7am - 4:30pm

Role & Responsibilities:Inspect aerospace parts and components to ensure they meet engineering drawings specifications and customer requirements
Use basic precision measuring tools such as calipers micrometers height gauges and pin gauges to verify part dimensions
Perform receiving in-process and final inspections under the guidance of senior inspectors
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to understand inspection criteria and product features
Record inspection results accurately in electronic quality systems and maintain proper documentation for traceability
Identify nonconforming parts and communicate issues to supervisors machinists or engineers for corrective action
Follow established quality procedures in alignment with AS9100 and aerospace industry standards.
Assist with first-article inspections by gathering measurements and completing required paperwork
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and ensure safe handling of aerospace components
Support continuous improvement activities by providing feedback on recurring issues or process inconsistencies
Work collaboratively with production engineering and quality teams to ensure consistent product quality
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:- Ability to learn to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions procedure manuals and blueprints
- Ability to learn to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram forms
- Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude
- Abilityto learn the use of inspection tools and gages such as scribes vernier calipers height gages depth gages micrometers cylindrical plugs and thread gages periphery or PI tapes decimal scales indicators inspection fixtures coordinate measuring machine and other automated measuring devices
