Track Assistants

ARC is the largest racecourse group in the UK where we race almost every day of the year. We focus on providing wonderful experiences for raceday visitors corporate clients and families looking to enjoy our diverse venues.

We are now looking for Raceday Track Assistants to join our team of casual workers at Ffos Las Racecourse.

Please Note- We will be hosting our track assistant induction at 2pm on the 17th December at Ffos Las Racecourse.

Duties for Raceday Track Assistants could include:

• Fence Attendant
• Treading the turf track back in on race days and non-race days.
• Fleecing the track as and when required.
• Assistance with cleaning down running rail as and when required.
• Assistance with cleaning out the stables as and when required.

No qualifications are needed and full training will be given so if you have the following wed like to hear from you:

• The ability to travel independently to various locations across the Midlands
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to work well in a team
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Any relevant experience within the Horseracing or equine industries or a general interest in Racing
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work variable hours sometimes at short notice ranging between 4 to 12 hours per day depending on requirements.
• Punctual and reliable.

What is casual work

Casual work is a great solution as it enables you to work flexibly around other commitments in your life. Once you are registered to work with us we will contact you in advance to offer you shifts. There are usually a range of shifts available and opportunities for work are based on busy seasons and the annual racing calendar. Positions will be allocated on the day as part of the briefing.
