Night Shift Case Worker
Support children and young people in Out-of-Home Care and drive positive outcomes by embedding trauma-informed culturally safe practices and ensuring compliance with standards and legislation.
About the Role
The Night Shift Case Worker role is a full-time fixed term 6-month position and the contracted hours are Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

What Youll Be Doing
- Conduct visits to services to provide support and guidance to staff on active night shifts
- Promote safe nurturing and culturally respectful environments for all individuals in our care
- Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents that occur during active night shifts
- Provide oversight direction and reassurance to night-shift teams
- Step in to cover staffing vacancies or emergencies when required
- Review the care environment to maintain a clean safe home for young people
- Ensure rostered staff comply with WHS requirements
What Youll Bring
- Diploma (or working towards) in community youth or social work
- Proven case management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and therapeutic care practices
- Strong documentation and compliance capability
- Current drivers license reliable vehicle and probity clearances
