Position Overview:
KODA is seeking a full-time Flight Software Engineer. The successful candidate will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis object-oriented analysis & design code & unit test integration and support to formal test/delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with programming languages such as C C
- Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined team
- Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design architecture and integration & test
- BS in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Computer Science or related field
- 214 years of experience in embedded real-time software development
Desired Skills:
- Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience (GreenHill or VxWorks)
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements
- Previous experience with flight software for spacecraft launch vehicles or safety/mission-critical aerospace systems
Clearance:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher is required.
