Job Summary

Amazon Global Selling (AGS) has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today more than 50% of Amazons total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazons 18 overseas stores and supporting local sellers success and growth on Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.

The Role

The Central Product & Program Management Office (PMO) collaborates with AGS business teams and many of Amazons global teams to empower high-growth global selling continuously uncover new opportunities and spearhead new initiatives to drive seller growth and success. As AI becomes increasingly central to our seller experience strategy we are building and scaling AI-powered products to transform how sellers interact with Amazon. We are looking for a talented highly-organized and self-motivated program operations manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of high-impact AI product initiatives. The program operations manager will play a critical role in formulating and implementing operational processes to support new AI product/program launches reviewing existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline and rolling out new tools to increase productivity and scale automation. This role requires working closely with product managers technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of AI solutions to sellers across multiple marketplaces and internal teams across multiple markets.

Key job responsibilities
* Lead high-visibility complex programs for AI product launches and scaling that span multiple business units and geographies
* Define program objectives scope and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders to pilot/scale new AI-driven business initiatives to sellers and internal teams
* Develop and manage operational plans for AI product rollouts coordinate with cross-functional teams (product engineering data science UX business intelligence) to ensure successful execution of program initiatives
* Analyze and solve operational barriers affecting AI product delivery with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency
* Monitor progress and performance metrics for AI products gather seller and internal customer feedback and derive insights to renovate existing processes or promptly implement enhancements to optimize AI product adoption and impact
* Lead AI fluency and awareness programs across the organization to equip internal employees with AI knowledge and drive adoption of AI tools. Design and execute various engagement activities including training sessions workshops contests and hands-on demonstrations to build AI capabilities and foster an AI-forward culture within AGS teams
* Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve conflicts at senior levels of the organization maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders to provide regular updates on AI program status milestones and business impact
* Manage change management and stakeholder communications for AI product launches ensuring smooth transitions and adoption across seller segments and internal teams

Personal Attributes and Competencies

* Proven track record of leading large-scale complex programs with significant business impact through seasoned project and operations management skills
* Possess strong problem-solving abilities employing a methodical and structured approach to navigate complex challenges
* Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions in rapidly changing environments particularly in emerging AI product spaces
* Excel in communication effectively engaging with local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration across technical and non-technical audiences
* High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
* Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding our AI products operations and seller needs
* Curiosity and willingness to learn about AI/ML technologies and their application to business problems
* Act like an owner a strong team player and ultimately focus on delivering results with high standards

- 8 years of experience in program/project management business operations or related fields
- Bachelors degree Masters degree preferred
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to manage prioritize and execute multiple projects methodically and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
- Impeccable attention to detail passion for processes systems/tools and data analytics
- * Exceptional customer obsession with a passion for working backwards from the needs of field or organizations
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment to lead by influence and earn trust at all levels

- Experience managing AI/ML product launches or technology-driven transformation initiatives
- Experience in e-Commerce and/or in a hi-tech B2B sales organization
- Familiarity with AI product concepts large language models or GenAI applications
- Track record of implementing innovative AI or automation solutions that have resulted in significant business growth or operational efficiency
- Experience designing and delivering training programs or organizational change initiatives
- Experience working with technical teams on product development and launch
