Job Summary

Civil Engineer

KBR are the Principal Design partner on the North Western Program Alliance (NWPA). The Alliance comprises of Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) Metro Trains Melbourne KBR and John Holland NWPA was established in 2017 and has delivered on approximately $3B of transport infrastructure projects for The State and community.

With the significant demand present within the Victoria transport sector a move to NWPA & KBR is an exciting step in your career. Youll be working on community shaping projects such as Sunshine and Melton level crossing removal with some other diverse opportunities currently being developed and committed to NWPA.

The Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic and delivery focused individuals to help deliver the project and keep Victoria moving. During this exciting growth period we have an opportunity for aCivil Engineerto join our team. As the ideal candidate you will have experience delivering civil infrastructure projects within the transport sector.

The role has a wide variety of responsibilities including working with the broader project teams to develop and delivery on design solutions under the supervision of the project Design Manager.

What you will need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) with experience in infrastructure projects working and ideally within a multi-disciplinary environment along with the following

Chartered Status/RPEV (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Ability to mentor junior to mid-level staff by providing technical guidance and leadership
Experience and knowledge in civil design software such as MicroStation and 12d
Have a strong working knowledge of Austroads VicRoads and local authority standards and guidelines
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary coordinatior
