Job Summary
Senior Structural Engineer Temporary Works
Adelaide Engineering Consultancy
An established engineering consultancy in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with strong experience in temporary works to support a growing pipeline of complex projects across construction infrastructure and industrial sectors.
This role will see you leading the design and review of temporary works solutions including formwork falsework shoring propping crane bases access platforms and construction sequencing. You will work closely with contractors project managers and site teams to deliver safe practical and buildable designs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver temporary works designs from concept through to construction
Provide technical leadership design checking and mentoring of junior engineers
Engage directly with clients and contractors to develop efficient solutions
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards codes and WHS requirements
Support construction phase engineering and site inspections
About You
Degree qualified Structural Engineer CPEng or near completion
Proven experience delivering temporary works engineering in Australia
Strong technical capability and practical construction knowledge
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
