Role Overview
FLS is seeking a strategic and results-driven Commodity Manager Professional Services (Non-IT) to lead the global sourcing and supplier management strategy across all Professional Services categories including Legal Finance HSE HR Services Management Advisory Marketing and Travel.
In this role you will define and execute procurement strategies aligned with FLSs business objectives driving value creation innovation and sustainability across the supply base. You will also oversee an outsourced procurement team strengthen strategic capabilities ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency in a global environment.
This role offers the opportunity to shape procurement excellence in a matrix organization working closely with senior leadership and global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the annual procurement strategy for Professional Services in alignment with global business goals.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization risk mitigation and innovation.
Lead cross-functional category councils and governance forums to ensure procurement initiatives support business priorities.
Sourcing & Project Execution
Manage end-to-end sourcing projects including market analysis RFP/RFI processes supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout sourcing activities.
Promote supplier diversity and sustainability in all sourcing processes.
Contract & Supplier Management
Oversee the full contract lifecycle: drafting negotiation execution and renewal.
Implement supplier performance management frameworks with KPIs and SLAs.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Operational Excellence
Optimize procurement processes and tools to enhance efficiency transparency and stakeholder satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with internal functions to enable seamless procurement operations.
Track and report on procurement performance savings and compliance metrics.

External: Strategic Suppliers Consultants Legal Advisors Travel Management Companies
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Law Finance or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of procurement experience with strong exposure to Professional Services.
Proven expertise in strategic sourcing contract negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical communication and project management skills.
Experience in a global matrix organization is highly desirable.
