Job Summary
Job Description
We are actively looking to appoint a Branch/Yard Assistant to join our small friendly team in Skipton. If you are a flexible individual who enjoys a small team environment likes being outdoors and can provide excellent customer service this may be the perfect fit for you!
Your job
This role involves:
- Processing and picking customer orders accurately
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
- Providing customers with product and service information including serving on the trade counter when required
- Keeping a safe organised and professional looking yard
Qualifications :
Job Requirements
Required:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
Desirable:
- Warehouse/yard experience
- A good knowledge of computers
- Forklift truck licence
