Job Summary
A specialist provision in Stockport is seeking a resilient and motivated PRU Teaching Assistant to support pupils who require alternative educational provision. This role is well suited to individuals experienced in behaviour support and pupil engagement.
You will play an important role in helping pupils re-engage with learning and develop positive routines.
Key duties include:
Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
Assisting teachers with structured lesson delivery
Promoting positive behaviour strategies
Building trusting relationships with pupils
Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
Experience in PRU or similar settings
Strong behaviour management skills
