About the Role

As a Groundsperson/Garden Labourer based at Centennial Parklands youll help maintain and enhance some of Sydneys most loved green spaces- from iconic gardens and lawns to historic landscapes.

Working alongside skilled horticulturalists youll:

• Assist with garden maintenance including hedging weeding pruning planting and mulching.
• Operate hand tools and petrol equipment such as hedgers blowers whipper snippers push mowers and ride-on plant safely and effectively.
• Load and unload materials plants and equipment from vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas tools and machinery.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Every day youll help create spaces that inspire people to get outdoors and connect with nature.

What Youll Bring

• A genuine interest in gardening horticulture or landscape maintenance.
• Previous experience in outdoor or manual work (ideal but not essential).
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work safely and as part of a team.
• A drivers licence (desirable).
• A White Card
