Key Accountabilities
- Project Planning & Delivery:Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure successful execution to achieveagreed-upon project objectives/outcomes scope and qualityexpectations with end-to-end project scope includingorganizational change management (OCM) activities.
- Governance & Compliance:Responsible foradherence toGorespolicies projectdelivery/governance frameworks and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk & Issue Management:Proactivelyidentify assess and manage project risks and issues implementing mitigation strategies and escalation processes as needed and contributions to program or portfolio risk and issue profiles.
- Budget & Resource Management:Prepare and manage project budgets monitorspendreportand act onvariances andoverseeresource allocation toensure project delivery within expectations.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Build andmaintaineffective relationships withall projectstakeholdersthrough proactive engagementongoing assessment of stakeholder needsandthe execution ofregulartailored communicationsto manage expectations and keepall partners updated.
- Vendor & Third-Party Management:where applicable oversee external partners and vendors ensuring deliverables meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Reporting & Communication:Provide regular transparent updates on project status progress risks and outcomes to sponsors leadership and other stakeholders with messages tailored to the needs of the audience and situation.
- Continuous Improvement:Promote best practices lessons learned and process improvements to enhance project delivery and organizational maturity.

- Lead cross-functional andpossibly cross-organizationproject teamsthrough the project lifecycle.
- Influencing partners and leaders at all levels(includingexecutives) using data and insights to make recommendations and enable project and portfolio decision-making.
- Coaching and mentoringproject team members on project management best practices to support them in fulfilling theirassigned project roles.
- Demonstrated ability toidentify recommend and implementproject-specific adjustments to the delivery framework based on theneeded outcomes for the project.
- Contribute to theoverallmaturation of thestandardproject deliveryframeworkby recommending enhancements based on the needs of your assigned projects.
- Facilitate project meetings and workshops to drive alignment resolve issues and support effective collaboration among stakeholdersand apply advanced facilitation techniques to manage group dynamics and achieve consensus on projectobjectivesand deliverables.
What Will You NeedtoSucceedinThis Role
- Bachelorsdegree in Business Project Management or related field
- PMPor equivalent certification is preferred
- 9 years of experiencein project management across a variety ofcomplexproject types with preference to candidates with experience leadingintegration projects
- 6 years of experience intheInsuranceindustry
- Experience withvarious delivery methodologies for project delivery including waterfall iterative agile etc.
- Proficiencyin a variety of project management tools ( tools MS Project Jira etc.)
- Experiencing managing project vendors
Hybrid: Cambridge & orToronto(This is a hybrid role that includes the flexibility to work remotely. Regular 2 days of in-person collaborationisexpected at our Toronto or Cambridge Officelocation).
