Job Summary


The Role:

You will take ownership of a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion delivering exceptional client care and ensuring all matters progress smoothly and compliantly. This role suits someone proactive organised and confident managing files independently while enjoying the support of a team that truly looks after each other.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters including:

    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

    • Remortgages and transfers of equity

    • New builds Help-to-Buy and shared ownership

    • Lease extensions and enfranchisement (if applicable)

  • Draft and review contracts transfer documents and related legal paperwork

  • Conduct due diligence-title checks searches and resolving legal issues

  • Communicate effectively with clients agents lenders and fellow solicitors

  • Keep clients updated with clear timely communication

  • Ensure full compliance with SRA regulations AML requirements and internal procedures

  • Maintain accurate records using the firms case management system

  • Work collaboratively to help the team meet targets and deadlines

  • Supervise junior staff or assistants where needed

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer (England & Wales)

  • Minimum 3 years PQE in residential conveyancing

  • Confident managing a full caseload independently

  • Strong knowledge of property law Land Registry processes and lender requirements

  • Excellent client care and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability

  • Competent user of legal case management systems and Microsoft Office

  • A commitment to delivering a high-quality client-centred service



    Desirable:

  • Experience in commercial conveyancing

  • Knowledge of new-build or shared-ownership schemes

  • Familiarity with compliance procedures
