About the Role
As a Cloud Systems Administrator you will be responsible for deploying configuring supporting and optimizing cloud-based systems. You will ensure high availability strong security and exceptional performance across production environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business goals and continuously improve system reliability and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.
- Perform deployments updates and configuration changes following best practices.
- Troubleshoot issues related to cloud systems networking virtualization and security.
- Support disaster recovery backup strategies and business continuity processes.
- Implement automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual operations.
- Ensure compliance with security requirements and contribute to risk mitigation efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering DevOps and IT teams to support smooth delivery workflows.
- Document infrastructure designs procedures and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Systems Administrator or similar systems/infrastructure role.
- Strong background with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Solid understanding of Linux systems administration networking and virtualization.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools to track and optimize system performance.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g. Bash Python PowerShell).
- Knowledge of security concepts including firewalls IAM encryption and vulnerability management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Experience with containerization CI/CD environments or Infrastructure as Code is an advantage.
