Sr. IT Business Systems Analyst

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client office (Markham) at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Business Systems Analyst is a key member of the project team contributing to the planning and project execution from ideation through to completion.

They consistently drive results by identifying opportunities to optimize the way they work remove project or team roadblocks and are focused on outcomes that will exceed stakeholder expectations and add the most business value.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Understand the business problem the project is tasked with solving and ensure project team does not lose sight of it
.Work with project team on defining and managing project scope
.Develop business workflows by creating AS IS and TO BE diagrams using MS Visio
.Create monitor and constant review of sprint plans looking for opportunities to optimize where applicable
.Collaborate on roadmap design planning and prioritization
.Organize and lead working sessions and project update meetings within various levels of the organization
.Work closely with business and technical team members in support of project deliverables
.Identify project issues/roadblocks and steps for resolution and mitigation
.Provide feedback and recommendations on project and process improvements

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills and Experience

Systems Analysis (BSA) experience
methodology and Scrum Master experience
-on experience with integrations involving data finance and risk modeling downstream systems
insurance domain knowledge
management and customer/business focus
thinking analytical and problem-solving skills
planning organization and time management skills
communication skills (formal and informal)
to create AS-IS and TO-BE workflows using MS Visio
-oriented approach for project artifacts
and end-to-end project ownership
in a fast-paced environment
-starter and ability to work independently
Nice to have Skills and Experience

of AWS or IBM FileNet
with roadmap design and prioritization
in sprint planning and optimization
organizing and leading working sessions across organizational levels
to continuous learning
