The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
Operate various welding equipment (MIG TIG Stick) to join metal components according to specifications.
Inspect finished welds for quality ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components by cutting shaping and positioning materials.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures including wearing appropriate PPE.
Grind deburr and finish welded surfaces to achieve desired smoothness and aesthetic quality.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG TIG Stick).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
Knowledge of welding safety protocols and quality control standards.
Relevant welding certification (e.g. AWS D1.1 ASME Section IX).
Experience welding various materials such as carbon steel stainless steel and aluminum.
Physical dexterity stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting.

Bonus Qualifications

Fabrication experience (cutting fitting assembly)
Forklift and/or overhead crane operation experience
Proficiency in using quality inspection tools (e.g. calipers micrometers)
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or 5S methodology
