Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking an entry-level Welder looking to grow skills and build a long-term career in steel fabrication. This Welder role is ideal for candidates with some MIG welding experience who want hands-on training steady hours and room for pay increases as skills improve.

What the Welder Will Be Doing

Perform MIG welding on steel frames and building components
Use 7 grinders scrapers and gougers to prep and finish materials
Assist with fitting and fabrication tasks as needed
Maintain a clean safe and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Required Qualifications for the Welder

Some MIG welding experience (certifications a plus not required)
Willingness to learn and improve welding and fitting skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs bend squat kneel and stand for extended periods
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
