Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and calibrate industrial robotic systems and related automation equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robots and peripheral devices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical electrical and software issues in robotic cells.
• Execute repairs and replace faulty components including servo motors controllers and end-effectors.
• Program and fine-tune robot paths teach points and adjust parameters for optimal performance and product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance repairs and modifications performed on robotic systems.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures while working with high-voltage machinery and moving robots.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics Mechatronics Automation or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience programming operating and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g. FANUC ABB KUKA).
• Strong proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical mechanical and pneumatic schematics for diagnosis and repair.
• Demonstrated understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens) and HMI development.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and integrating industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet) and troubleshooting network connectivity.
• Basic CAD/CAM software proficiency for interpreting designs or minor modifications.
