Key Responsibilities

Source and recruit candidates for a range of manufacturing roles including production skilled trades and engineering.
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial screening to offer extension and pre-employment checks.
Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate recruitment data.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified talent for current and future manufacturing needs.
Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal state and company employment regulations.
Participate in job fairs and industry events to enhance employer branding and attract talent.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience recruiting for diverse roles within the manufacturing sector (e.g. production engineering skilled trades).
Demonstrated proficiency in advanced sourcing techniques to attract passive manufacturing talent.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes environments and industry-specific requirements.
Expertise in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
Exceptional communication negotiation and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience recruiting for skilled trades engineering or production roles within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing plant or facility.
Understanding of common manufacturing safety standards (e.g. OSHA).
Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems commonly used in manufacturing organizations.
