Key Responsibilities

Source screen and recruit qualified candidates for diverse manufacturing roles including production engineering and skilled trades.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer acceptance for factory and plant positions.
Partner closely with manufacturing hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Develop and implement innovative sourcing techniques to attract top talent in a competitive manufacturing labor market.
Conduct thorough interviews assess candidate qualifications and facilitate the selection process with hiring teams.
Negotiate offers and manage the pre-boarding process for new manufacturing hires.
Maintain accurate candidate data and recruitment activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Build and nurture talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing roles.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience recruiting for a variety of roles within a manufacturing environment (e.g. production engineering quality maintenance).
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes industry trends and specific skill sets.
Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates for technical and skilled trades positions.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.

Bonus Qualifications

Familiarity with manufacturing processes terminology or skilled trades.
Experience recruiting for a unionized environment.
Proficiency in Spanish or other languages common in manufacturing workforces.
Knowledge of manufacturing-specific compliance or safety regulations (e.g. OSHA ISO).
Experience with recruitment marketing or employer branding specifically for blue-collar roles.
