The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials in-process components and finished products.
Document and maintain accurate quality records including inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and CMMs to verify product specifications.
Identify isolate and report non-conforming materials or products assisting with root cause analysis.
Ensure all quality control equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
Support the implementation and adherence to quality management systems and procedures.
Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and provide feedback to production.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges CMM).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications.
Working knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g. SPC Root Cause Analysis CAPA).
Experience performing inspections testing and data collection in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with CMM programming and operation.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP) for SPC.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience supporting ISO 9001 AS9100 or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
