The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections of incoming materials in-process production and finished products.
Conduct various quality tests and measurements using precision instruments.
Document inspection and test results maintaining accurate quality records and reports.
Identify and report non-conforming materials or products initiating corrective actions as needed.
Assist in the investigation of quality issues and support root cause analysis.
Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of all inspection and test equipment.
Verify adherence to quality control plans manufacturing specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications.
Understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g. SPC Root Cause Analysis).
Experience performing various types of product inspections (e.g. in-process final first article).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and data entry for quality records.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Minitab or other statistical analysis software.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
Familiarity with CMM operation or programming.
Experience participating in internal quality audits.
