Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control personnel on inspection procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to product specifications and quality requirements.
• Investigate product non-conformances analyze root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee final product inspection and testing to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation including inspection plans work instructions and quality records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality reduce defects and optimize processes.
• Facilitate internal and external quality audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering manufacturing or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment including supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g. SPC FMEA Root Cause Analysis 8D).
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and mentor quality personnel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities including proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. medical device automotive aerospace).
• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering quality training programs.
