The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor quality control personnel and technicians.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
• Investigate non-conformances identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct regular product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends report findings and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production engineering and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Oversee the calibration maintenance and proper use of inspection and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing environment including supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and quality tools (SPC FMEA Root Cause Analysis 8D).
• Demonstrated ability to lead train and motivate a quality inspection team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with specific Quality Management System (QMS) software
• Lead Auditor certification (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949)
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
