The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control personnel on inspection procedures and standards.
• Oversee all product inspection testing and release activities to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor manufacturing processes for adherence to quality specifications and process controls.
• Investigate quality non-conformances identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records analyze data and generate performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Manufacturing Quality Management or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001 GMP IATF 16949 etc.).
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC Lean Six Sigma Root Cause Analysis FMEA and 8D.
• Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and develop a team coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Practitioner certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
• Certified Internal or Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001 or other relevant industry standards
• Experience with Supplier Quality Management including audits and development
