The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Investigate non-conformances identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and records.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits for compliance with industry regulations.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment including supervisory or lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g. SPC FMEA Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
• Excellent problem-solving analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Relevant quality certifications (e.g. ASQ CQE Six Sigma Green Belt) preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Certified Lead Auditor (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100 IATF 16949).
• Experience with advanced statistical software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
• Proficiency in specific industry quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485 AS9100 IATF 16949).
