Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality inspection personnel and technicians.
• Ensure strict adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) regulatory standards (e.g. ISO FDA) and internal procedures.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor and analyze quality data metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the execution of incoming in-process and final product inspections and testing.
• Collaborate with production engineering and other departments to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive quality documentation records and reports.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC FMEA MSA 8D and Root Cause Analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and develop a quality team.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g. Minitab JMP) for process analysis and improvement.
• Experience with specific Quality Management System (QMS) software platforms (e.g. SAP QM MasterControl).
• Prior experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. medical device aerospace automotive).
