Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Investigate non-conformances conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop implement and maintain quality procedures and documentation.
• Lead internal and support external quality audits (e.g. ISO customer).
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and customer requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g. SPC FMEA root cause analysis).
• Demonstrated leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings specifications and quality standards.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. medical devices aerospace automotive).
