Key Responsibilities

• Supervise train and mentor quality control personnel.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to maintain compliance with quality management systems.
• Develop implement and maintain quality control procedures work instructions and documentation.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends root causes and areas for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production engineering and other departments to address quality challenges and improve processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Manufacturing or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment with prior supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g. SPC FMEA Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated ability to lead train and mentor a team of quality technicians and inspectors.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes metrology and inspection methodologies.
• ASQ certification (e.g. CQE CQA) or equivalent professional quality certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. medical device automotive aerospace).
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP) or advanced Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Demonstrated experience leading Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
