Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality control operations and personnel.
• Ensure products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
• Investigate non-conformances conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop train and mentor quality inspection teams.
• Maintain and update quality documentation procedures and records.
• Collaborate with production to integrate quality best practices into manufacturing processes.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment including supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g. SPC FMEA MSA Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills including training and performance oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
• Proficiency with statistical software (e.g. Minitab JMP) for advanced data analysis.
• Experience with specific industry regulatory standards (e.g. FDA AS9100 IATF 16949).
• Prior experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for quality data management.
