Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Oversee all stages of product inspection including incoming in-process and final quality checks.
• Investigate product non-conformances conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate quality records documentation and reporting of key quality metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance product quality.
• Manage the calibration and maintenance schedule for all quality inspection equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g. SPC FMEA Root Cause Analysis CAPA).
• Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and develop a quality inspection team.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings specifications and using various inspection equipment.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Certified Internal/Lead Auditor (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949)
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) quality processes (e.g. APQP PPAP)
