The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Battle Creek that are seeking Quality Managers. Key Responsibilities

Develop implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
Oversee all quality control and assurance activities from raw material inspection to final product release.
Lead investigations into non-conformances customer complaints and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality process efficiency and reduce waste.
Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits including supplier quality assessments.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and customer specifications.
Manage mentor and develop the quality assurance and quality control team.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Manufacturing or a related technical field.
7 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
Deep expertise in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma SPC and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
ASQ Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE) or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Experience with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
Lead Auditor certification for a specific industry standard (e.g. IATF 16949 AS9100 ISO 13485).
Proven ability to implement predictive quality methodologies.
