Analyze market trends and new technologies to identify potential cost savings and process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

Extensive experience (5 years) in purchasing and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for procurement inventory and material planning.
Strong analytical skills for cost analysis market trends and supplier performance evaluation.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Understanding of manufacturing processes materials and quality standards relevant to the industry.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean/Six Sigma certification (e.g. Green Belt Black Belt).
Experience with international sourcing logistics and customs compliance.
Professional certification (e.g. CSCP CPIM) in supply chain management.
Proficiency with advanced data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI SQL) for spend analysis and forecasting.
Familiarity with contract law and negotiation of complex supplier agreements.
