Key Responsibilities

Plan execute and finalize manufacturing projects defining scope objectives and resource requirements.
Develop and manage detailed project schedules budgets and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g. engineering production quality supply chain) to achieve project milestones.
Identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues inherent in manufacturing operations.
Communicate project status progress risks and changes effectively to all stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes through project execution.
Oversee vendor and contractor relationships for equipment materials and services related to projects.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience managing complex projects within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes production lifecycles and supply chain management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Proficiency with project management software (e.g. MS Project Jira) and ERP systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion often involving new product introduction or process improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Plex)
Familiarity with CAD software or PLM systems (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD Teamcenter)
Experience with specific manufacturing processes (e.g. CNC machining injection molding assembly automation)
Understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100)
