Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage project plans schedules and budgets for manufacturing initiatives (e.g. new product introduction line expansion process improvement).
Lead cross-functional teams including engineering production quality and supply chain personnel.
Define project scope objectives and deliverables for manufacturing-specific projects.
Identify assess and mitigate risks related to manufacturing processes equipment and production schedules.
Ensure project adherence to manufacturing quality standards safety regulations and operational requirements.
Communicate project status issues and changes effectively to all stakeholders including production management.
Oversee the procurement installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment or technologies.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall Lean Manufacturing).
Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes production planning and supply chain logistics.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management software (e.g. MS Project Jira).
Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Proficiency with common ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite).
Experience with CAD software for reviewing technical drawings and designs.
Familiarity with specific manufacturing processes (e.g. CNC machining injection molding automation).
Advanced certifications in Agile project management methodologies.
