Job Summary
Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Project Manager to support our government customer in Washington DC. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Security Clearance. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. This key personnel position requires a skilled leader who can effectively manage on-site contractor personnel while ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:On-site supervision and coordination of contractor personnel activitiesDevelopment and management of work schedules and prioritiesResource allocation and personnel managementImplementation and oversight of Quality Assurance/Quality Control plansRegular communication with Contract PM COR and Government personnelPerformance monitoring and workflow managementProblem identification and resolutionManaging staff development and providing necessary resourcesEnsuring operational efficiency during peak workload periodsCoordinating with ATF stakeholders for project executionRequirements:Strong leadership and personnel management abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in government contract managementDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong organizational and planning skillsQuality assurance and control expertiseProblem-solving and crisis management capabilitiesKnowledge of federal contracting practicesProficiency in project management methodologiesExperience in on-site team supervisionMust be able to pass BATFE Clearance processMust be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Security Skills and Competencies:PMP or similar project management certificationExperience working with law enforcement or nuclear security agenciesPrevious experience with ATF or similar federal agenciesAdvanced degree in related fieldKnowledge of NNCTC operations and proceduresExperience with staff development and trainingBackground in cybersecurity or related fieldsChange management experienceExperience managing classified operationsEducation:Bachelors Degree from an accredited university/college (work experience may be substituted with prior ATF approval)Work Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:8 years of recent relevant project management experienceExperience managing federal government contractsDemonstrated track record of successful project deliveryOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
