Key Responsibilities
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency cost and quality.
- Design develop and implement new production processes and equipment.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct process capability studies and statistical analysis to monitor and improve performance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation including SOPs and work instructions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and resolve production issues.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and P&ID interpretation.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for process optimization.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations and quality standards.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems (PLCs SCADA).
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD).
