Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring production targets quality standards and delivery schedules are met.
• Implement and optimize production processes lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead mentor and develop the operations team fostering a culture of safety quality and accountability.
• Manage operational budgets monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations quality management systems and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with supply chain engineering and sales to optimize material flow and product delivery.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends troubleshoot issues and drive corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and managing manufacturing operations and production teams.
• Demonstrated success in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting cost control and P&L management within a manufacturing context.
• Expertise in production planning scheduling and inventory management to optimize output and efficiency.
• Thorough understanding of quality management systems and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA ISO).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience implementing or optimizing automation and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
